Online concert!!

hi guys, very very soon I'm going to start online concerts, 30 mins, from my home!!
It will be live online, or I think they'll be able to archive it too..
I'll be doing some of my rarely-heard songs, my regular songs, and some surprise cover songs..
I'm thinking of doing one concert every 10 days or so...
Hope you like the idea and will tune in when it's time!!

Hey Marina. You say you'll be playing some cover tunes as well? Here's a suggestion, (not that my suggestions really matter;)) but maybe you could play some of the cover tunes that we've suggested here at the forum under the "cover tunes" thread. After all, there are quite a few choices for you to select from,especially since it's an older thread.
And although I've made many suggestions there, if you ever,only did one for me, please let it be "Nutshell" by Alice In Chains! No song moves me more than that one.Beautiful acoustic music, powerful lyrics that I can fully relate to, and Layne's voice!!!!! Oh how I miss him and that voice.

Midnight would be a little late for me Marina, I usually go to bed around that time. Particularly since Friday morning is one of my early days at work. 11pm however would work perfectly, since I get home around 10:15 and you said the performances are about 25 minutes in length!
Would that work for you? I hope so, cause I really, really want to see these performances! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!:)) I hope you'll consider playing "Don't Cry" again! That was just mindblowing!!! I think you said you'll be putting that song on part 2 of the new album though, correct? I sure hope so, cause you did an amazing job with that:) "Don't Cry" has always been my fave G'N'R song.
P.S. If I have to stay up till 12:30am though I will! To see you perform, absolutely, it would be worth it. Whatever you decide Marina:)

In the light of time zones between Los Angeles and my country is 10 hours , i think so. If the online concerts begans in 8.p.m. that its will not be possible for me to watch online ,too early, but around midnight in Los Angeles sounds better for me. But any way i will watch it after that. Looking forward :)

For next online consert, if i can request, i would like to hear "Taet sneg" (melt snow) in russian.
This was the first song that I heard you sing and still means a lot to me.

Hey Marina, I was wondering, how long will you be doing these online concerts? 1 month? 3? 6? Indefinitely? I would imagine when your on the road touring you won't be doing them.Or when you go back to Russia.Just curious, all I can say is, the longer the better!!

So I just got home from work, made a ham and cheese sandwich, cracked open a refreshing can of Shasta cola and watched Thursday songs with Marina!! And what can I say...simply incredible. You were amazing Marina!! Thanks for playing my request, and "Don't Cry", and "My Star"!! It was nice to hear those again. I was very fortunate that I was among the first to hear those 2 tracks at your birthday show!!!

So nice I had to watch twice:) This time I actually watched at youtube so I could favorite it on my channel! I actually liked it better there too, because the picture was bigger, I didn't feel like I was watching in a tiny little box:) So Marina, I have a couple more requests for you...I love the early tunes from "Lift" and "Let Me Dream", so "One To Blame" would be cool, as well as "Diving" and "Always" Если Можнo,Пожалуйста:) And also, from the Russian bootleg how about: "Не Уходи" and "Утро Туманное"?

Really enjoyed your first Thursday set, unfortunately living here in the UK was unable to view live as it was broadcast at about 2.00am in the morning so watched it on youtube on Sunday.

Hey Stormy, actually I think the clocks already changed on your side of the ocean (if they changed at all for you), and the clocks go back an hour this weekend in North America. So you might be adding that hour back on next week! :eek:

Hey, how come I can't watch episode #3 of Thursday songs again? It's not at ustream and it's not at youtube either:(. I was really hoping to watch it again. Is it not available anymore? Marina or Nick, please let me know if it will be available to watch again. Doesn't make sense to still be able to watch Eps. #1 and 2 but not 3. I assumed they would all be available to watch again.

I am (as always) excited for the concert tonight! I invited some friends & family but it is still a bit late for some...for instance, Mike gets up at 5am....but, I plan on keeping him up past his bedtime tonight;), lol!!
