Hi everybody!! Hope everyone is doing well. Happy fall, hope everybody's summer was wonderful!! With fall beginning today, I thought it would be a good time to announce a new contest. Actually, this is just a feeling out process to see if there's enough interest. Things have been pretty quiet here lately, so hopefully a new contest will generate some activity!
So here it goes: "Scrambled Song" contest!! This idea was suggested by our wonderful V-teamer Tiffany, who was kind enough to give her approval to let me run this for her:) Thanks, Tiff:) Basically, like the last contest "name that Marina lyric" from earlier this year,
it'll run for 30 days. Every day, I'll pick one of Marina's songs, scramble up the title, and whoever unscrambles it correctly first, will receive 5 points! Whoever has the most points after 30 days will receive a prize to be determined.
Marina, if your reading any suggestions you have for a prize would be greatly appreciated. Tiffany and I both thought the new t-shirts would make a great prize, but if the winner already has one well...
I was thinking of starting this contest around Oct.1st or 2nd, that way Marina could send out a newsletter to announce the contest! That is... if we do this. So I'd really appreciate some feedback from the Komrades to see who's interested. I think it'll be really fun!!!
Oh, and also, if we do this, I probably won't use songs like "Hope", "Gone", "Ocean", "Fate" or "Fool" since they would obviously be very easy to solve:"ofol"? Don't think that would be to hard to figure out(LOL).So let me know what you think! I'll look forward to your feedback and suggestions. Let's have some fun!!!!!!
