Here it the update!!!! and if you guys are curious - usually, one regular album, by a regular artist who is not very famous and who's hiring an experienced but not a super famous producer, it costs about $60,000 to just record/mix it!!!!.... so for EP of 5 songs, what I'm raising is actually a quite modest amount (by industry standards).... crazy, huh? what a world we live in!!

June 22 - we're now at $4,126 thanks to contributions from Anita Murphy-Sanchez and Joe Sanchez, Ron & Christine Hodge, and Alan Roche!!! Thank you soooo much!!! We raised $1,200 today!!!

June 21 - we're now at $2,926 thanks to contributions from Andy Sweeney, The MacQuarrie family, Michelle Pincus and Winifred Adams!! Thank you!!

June 20 - we're now at $2,801 thanks to contributions from Hal Dalton and Bill Adler!!! Thank you!!!

I think an EP is a very good idea.

An EP:
- Is (usually) cheaper
- Has more impact (if the 5 or 6 songs are the very best of the best)
- Can be released more often.

very true!!
it's cheaper in terms of less songs (because you'd have to pay for each song recorded).
but when it comes to manufacturing a physical CD, the price is the same (no matter how many songs it has on it). That's the only downside, but it's not that big of a deal :)

As I managed to find out, this means «daughter of the Tsar».

But I know nothing of her father (nuclear physics I guess, no Tsar whatsoever).

So ... I even risk calling her 公主 :D

my goal is September! i'll be on tour in july/august and won't be able to concentrate
on getting the artwork/everything coordinated.... so.. end of Sept! :)
but all of the sponsors will get the songs in about 2 weeks.

in Russia tsar is the same as nuclear physicist, didn't you know that?
:)))
p.s. don't even know where to start with the symbols (japanese, is it?)

Well, it is simplified chinese :)

But really don't ask much more than that, Tsaritsa.

I should have done this earlier, but my contribution is made.

Oh, from your website; "I am actually allergic to marijuana, so - definitely no!!!"

How do you know ???? ;) Unless you tried it. Don't worry, i had my fare share of marijuana...

All the best,
Maarten

haha:) I'm sure living in Amsterdam you have tried it at least :)
I wish it became legal in USA.

I thought that California would have legalized marijuana, opened state run shop and tax it to help with the budge problems, especially since it happens to be the number one cash crop for the state. At least Obama said he wouldn’t use federal money to go after the states that have legalized medical marijuana. I have always felt that it isn’t the worry of recreational use that keeps marijuana illegal, but the effect legalization would have on industry, especially the petroleum industries. :(
