hi guys!!!
i have one more day here in Moscow...
last night my brother and I watched the end of the Eurovision contest (it's HUGE in Europe!!!) - congrats to Milla's country & to Alexandr Rybak for winning the contest..... it's funny, b/c he's Russian (who grew up in Norway) and speaks Russian perfectly!!!

Also, on Fri night I played at the US Embassy in Moscow... They didn't let my brother in b/c he's a Russian national... they just let him drive onto the compound property and unload my keyboard.... and then the poor guy had to leave :) only Americans were allowed there on Fri night.. it was pretty neat - to be in America while in Russia :)
One of my long-time supporters from Arizona now works at the Embassy and he's the one who organized he concert there - so many thanks to Eric P (I don't know if he comes here on the messageboard)...

Anyway.. and at my gig at Hard Rock Cafe they asked me to announce the winner of the big contest (Hard Rock Calling) to fly to London to attend the Hard Rock Festival... anyway..it was very fun... i had to pull a name from a big bowl full of applications...

ok, gotta go.. just thought i'd give you a little update.
hugs,
marina:)

Thanks you Marina for greetings from Moscow.
I hope you had great time there!
And I also watched the Eurovision Contest. My biggest congratulations to Milla's country too. Alexaandr Rybak was my favorite this year. And not strange that he get 12 points from my country. :)
P.s. Alexander Rybak speaks perfect in russian, but he was born in Belarus. And he was so great. ;)

France ended 6th this time with a very nice song by Patricia Kaas.
Year before was a complete disaster...

May I say that I think that Norwegian fiddlers should let French singers win?
Just once, please..

nothings helps French to win, even a big singer as Patricia Kaas....
And even if i liked hers music very much, that was wrong place for her to sing, sorry Laurent
