I believe in natural selection. Wolves used to populate the entire United States as a predator feeding on large mammals such as deer and elk while helping to naturally control the population of these animals and removing sick and injured one's from the population. There are only about 15,000 gray wolves left in the entire U.S. The Moose population in Alaska alone is well over 100,000 and there are an estimated 1,000,000 caribou scattered throughout the state. Everything has become very unbalanced. Wolves are the natural predator of the moose and caribou in Alaska, not humans. Of course we all need to eat to survive. But, killing wolves in such a cowardly way just so you can have more moose steaks on the table only makes Mrs. Palin a predator. Her actions are just not justified. I couldn't be more thankful that she was sent back to Alaska and not to Washington D.C.!

Sorry to dig up an old but painful thread. I think it's evil too. I can imagine what place in Marina's heart and mind wolves can have....you know, coming from a Russian family.
