Besame Mucho

I got a copy of one of Marina's "Demos % Fun Stuff" albums yesterday, and I was so excited to see that it includes a live performance (in Moscow) of "Besame Mucho." She did that as one of her sound check songs in D.C. a few weeks ago, and it blew me away. If any of you have heard it, you know what I'm talking about -- if you haven't, well, you need to hurry and get yourself a copy!!

That is such a fun CD!! I love "Besame Mucho" also. Also, I love her singing as a little girl. That was a real treat!!

It includes demo and instrumental versions of songs on "Modern Fairytale", her childhood singing, some commercial spots, and "Besame Mucho" live in Moscow. In fact, if you were to win the contest, you could request that CD as part of your prize!! Remember, grand prize winner gets the autographed lyric sheet PLUS an early or rare Marina CD of their choice!!!

I still remember going to a Marina concert and passing by her and being absolutely shocked hearing her speaking Spanish. In retrospect it was pretty hilarious, but considering I'm always trying out new Russian words on her and she asks me about certain Spanish words. . .

The demos and fun stuff CD is available to anybody, all you have to do is ask Marina.I didn't mean it was only available to "special fans". I assumed that you received Marina's newsletter updates,Stormy and I'm just using her own words "for big fans only" which just means that not necessarily everyone will want it. Only her biggest fans would probably want it. Please don't be angry, Stormy, I didn't mean to upset you. I know your a BIG fan of Marina's and I'm so glad to have you here at the forum. I understand what you were saying Todd...Don't worry yourself. I don't believe anyone took offense:). It took me a while to catch on to the "Fun stuff & demos" Cd as well. I actually came across the special purchase page while doing a Google search for Marina's music even before I received my first news letter! I REALLY enjoy the "Marina childhood tape" on the CD....that is fun :D.
