Just in case you didn't see this under letters to Marina I wanted to re-post this little tidbit. It has to do with the folks that were talking about Don Mcleans music....

Geesh you guys....I'm old....getting very old....but since I never really heard anyone make mention of it....I thought I'd share the little tidbit I learned about Mr. Mclean. We all know that he drove his chevy to the levee but do you know the very strange connection that Marina has with Don Mclean?

Ok, ok, David Krebs (Marina's manager) is the guy who pretty much found Don Mclean when he was working for the William Morris Agency. When I asked David how he ended up managing Marina after managing Aerosmith he said Rock was really never his cup of tea. That's when he told me about Don Mclean. He said that was his type of music and that's what he loved about Marina's music. Now, I'm paraphrasing but that was the jist of the conversation. So, you see....that's the strange little connection that Marina has with Don Mclean!
