i just got an idea.

as i've told u before, i'm on amiestreet (http://www.amiestreet.com), amie for short ;)
amie is an internet-site, and a social network of music-lovers around the world.
it is a place to get new music known! :D
we do this by finding music we like, buy it, and REComend it to others. writing a RECommendation is our way of sharing a song we really believe in with the whole community.

i've RECed many of her songs, and i now want to make another one. and i thought, maybe i could get help writing it!

Trying to pick one Marina V song to rec is pretty difficult because they are all so good.

I would probably vote for "Here, There and Everywhere"
A) It's one of my favorite Beatles songs
B) Marina more than does it justice. This is one of the best covers I have ever heard. Marina's voice is perfect for a song like this; she gets the perfect mix of plaintive, longing and sentimental, without being sappy. Her vocals swoop and soar and just make you glad that you are listening to her sing.

It is very difficult to pick one song, milla. However, I like "I'll Be Alright", from Simple Magic, and "The Strength I Need" from the upcoming album because they are both so inspirational!! Hope this helps, I could've gone on and on and on, you get the idea! Peace!

I didn't quite get the discussion i hoped for on this, but i am very satisfied with the replies i got.
i'm therefore making 2 RECs

Marina learned English by translating the Beatles songs. Here, There & Everywhere was written by Lennon/McCartney.
Marina more than does it justice. This is one of the best covers I have ever heard.
