WOW, I just got home and new CD was waiting for me. This CD is totally awesome, I had no idea just how great she is live. I feel like I am listening to these songs for the first time and I'm lovin it.
I have an idea for all you Komrades, this CD is really under priced at $10.00, why not buy two copies and give one copy away to someone who may be interested in her. I'm sure after they listen to her they will buy her two other CD's and everyone will be happy. I have my second copy ordered and now I am trying to figure who will benefit most from getting it.
If you haven't ordered it yet, do it now, you won't regret it and remember most top 40 CD's are going for $15-$18 in the stores and aren't half as good as this. Two Marina's for $20 are well worth it. smile.gif

Oh my word; I love the new album! It's so much better than the other CDs in my opinion. Before I didn't know how it could get better. Hehe, it did. I must say, I finally discovered my favorite Marina V song--"Unbalanced."

If you haven't already--buy it. You might think that you already have a copy of the songs if you own Simple Magic and Something of my Own. There's something that I find to be better about this album. I can't really describe it, but once you listen you will.

this new LIVE CD has left me speechless. the T-shirts are awesome, so if anyone hasn't bought one, just do it!!! you will love them! soft, stylish and black. what more can you ask in a band/music T-shirt? I worked it out to
make Phily the 21st and once again my plans have been interupted. I hope I can still work it out. to everyone, Marina's CDs have shortened my Christmas shopping trips so much for years now. her CDs have made wonderful gifts. now the T-shirts will help even more.

I hope to meet fellow komrades at a gig sometime in the very near future. and again, I expected the CD to be great, and it is. the T-shirt puts icing on the cake. and komrades in particular, take my advise without question. I am very particular and these shirts are very

Hello fellow Komrades,

I have frequently read the Komrade threads but have never posted; therefore something about me first.......

I have been a MarinaV fan for many years now and know that I always will be. I first met Marina back in 2000 when she performed at an alumni show for our college here in Illinois. I was blown away by that performance. I had never heard such incredible heart-felt lyrics performed by someone with a voice that was as beautiful and it was unique. I was hooked.

From that point on, I attended nearly every local performance and even took a few road trips. Soon I began to help out with the fan club and often worked the merchandising table at her shows. I can truly say that assisting Marina in the pursuit of her dream was the most fun and fulfilling job I have ever had. I know many of you share my desire to promote Marina to the world and I encourage everyone to do what they can. Even little things can make a HUGE difference.....

I have continued to follow Marina's success via the web since she made her way out to California to fulfill her musical destiny. I got married to a beautiful young woman, had several children, got a job and have become domesticated. Although I no longer have as much time to actively promote Marina like I could when I was single, I know that each of you are doing so much to let other's know about Marina's incredible talent.

Marina's new CD "Live at SoundMoves" is amazing.....I cannot stop listening to it. No one can beat Marina's live performances. I truly believe this is her best CD yet (and they are all GREAT!!!).

If you have not yet had the opportunity to see Marina perform live, I urge each of you to drive, ride, fly, walk, run, or crawl to a MarinaV performance near you as soon as possible.....they really are that good. Marina's live shows are the perfect showcase for her lyrics, voice, and music. You will not regret it, I promise. If distance, age, or cost of travel make it unlikely you will be able to attend a live Marina performance anytime soon, I must say that "Live at SoundMoves" is the next best thing to being there.

just a few comments on the live CD. Simply put it is awesome!! I feel there was a good mix of new songs and old. I am so pleased to have been a part of that experience.It was an honor to be there.I am extra happy to have "Unbalanced" on a CD now!! I wouldn't say it's my favorite song, because I love all of Marina's songs and it wouldn't be fair to those other amazing songs,but "Unbalanced" is extra special to me because it is the first song I ever heard Marina play back on Jan.9th,2004 in Las Vegas.Marina's music is the most beautiful I've ever heard and her vocals are the most angelic,exquisite I have ever heard!! Anybody who doesn't have the live CD needs to pick up a copy or two right away. You won't be disappointed! The 'Live at SoundMoves' is simply the best work ever. Not only does Marina V sounds awesome, I love the little snipplets of her life which she shared between songs which makes it even more personal.

If there is only one thing you can purchase this year, I would say the 'Marina V:Live at SoundMoves' is the sure winner. It is par excellent.

I think this album is amazing. I have been listening to it nonstop ever since I got it in the mail. It's great to hear the new songs and the new versions of the songs I already have on other CDs. The stories Marina tells are very endearing and get you even closer to Marina as an artist. Thank you for the beautiful album!

What an experience and what a CD! Technically, this CD is well produced and musically Marina and the team/band are at the top of their game. Pardon the sports reference. The songs are wonderful and the banter is more entertaining with every show! Go Jim Morrison.
