Hello from New York! Or that's what I meant to write when I was in NY last week, but I never sent it. The tour was so much fun. Playing in IL, MI, NYC & OH was really great, meeting many wonderful people and staying with friends along the way. During the tour we had lots of amusement, like getting lost in Hell's Kitchen at night in NY, or meeting Phil the famous groundhog in Punxsutawney, PA. See pics below.
And, I'm going to try again to donate blood next week. I've been chewing on large pieces of iron to guarantee the adequate hemoglobin level. Go, Team O negative!!
P.S. remember the weasel story (http://www.krebscommunications.com/marinav/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=000030)? well, just today I said "I need to get out of a runt," and I meant "rut", but I thought it was "runt", which apparently could be in a weasel family. smile.gif
I keep telling myself that one of these days I'll speak perfect English. But until then...

Why worry? With the current state of the American English language, you could have said "I need to get out of a rutabaga" and no one would have noticed. :D

Oh, and first post. Go me. I'm "Terminally Shy" for a reason, you know. redface.gif

Hey Marina, great pics, we miss you here in NYC! Ummm... is it too soon to start asking when you'll be back??? Just kidding! ;)

How did you manage to get lost in Hell's Kitchen? One of the great things about NY, the streets and avenues (most of them, anyway) are numbered! :D

I see you ventured into Brooklyn, too... and Central Park! I love the park, is it not a beautiful slice of heaven in the middle of a huge, busy city??? smile.gif

How was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? You mentioned after the Bitter End show you'd be going... was it great or what?? Is it worth a trip to Cleveland??? smile.gif

Your English IS perfect. It's your English, spoken by you as it should be. ;)
