hi guys smile.gif
the show in Santa Ana was so cool. I had the best time with all of the song requests.
I played songs I haven't done in the longest time.
Nick & I ended up playing for over 2 & a half hours. thank you to everybody who was there..
after hugging everyone & feeding everybody Russian chocolate candy (mmmmmm, candy),
Nick & I drove to Escondido, where we were staying.
It was after midnight and we were starving, so we pulled over somewhere to eat at
In-N-Out Burger, which is my favorite favorite favorite fast food place!! www.in-n-out.com (http://www.in-n-out.com)

Anyway, it was just Nick & I and a bunch of cops eating in that place.
It was late and we were rather delirious. As I sat there waiting for my food,
I looked at the receipt and saw "In-N-Out Burger Vista", and for a second I thought
that the name of that town was "BURGER VISTA".
Ha.
of course, it was just "Vista".. see my pic below.. smile.gif But wouldn't it be great
living in a town called Burger Vista? My imagination ran wild..
I know it may seem not as funny to you now, but it was the most hilarious thing in the whole
world on Sat night at 12:20 am.. smile.gif
I laughed until I had tears in my eyes.

Anyway.
The next day we spent all day at the Wild Animal park (beautiful place, see my pics)
with our awesome friends Brian & Becky, walking for about 4 hours.
see video: smile.gif it's great! funvideo.AVI (http://marinav.com/komrades/SantaAnaSanDiegoEtc/wide/PICT2010.AVI)

although it was overcast, I managed to get sunburned or wind-burned or whatever
the hell it was, but my face felt ON FIRE!!!!!!! I was already rather loopy,
so it didn't help smile.gif
We had a great show @ Lestat's in Normal Heights in San Diego that night,
had such a blast with Seth Horan & Jane Lui, the other artists on the bill. they're such cool people.
thank you to everyone who came out to Lestat's.
When we were completely done, it was already after 1 am and we went to a cool
little Mexican food place which we heard was the best in town.
I always try to practice my Spanish, which is sort of pathetic, but I keep
trying nevertheless. So I started talking to the owner, and he ended up asking me
to sing something for him, so I sang "besame mucho", a capella, from the
top of my lungs. He was so excited he bought a CD, which was the same amount
as our food there. So, I pretty much sang for food! For the best tasting
chimichanga & Nick's burrito! smile.gif

Okay, good night, talk to you all later!!!
love,
m smile.gif
Is anyone reading this? post below!!!!! smile.gif

Marina V and Nick,

Saw your Yahoo email to me. How was the Netteradio 6pm online show? Had prior commitment to Jimi Yamagishi's SongNet. Bobby Borg was scheduled to speak, but was not able to make it.
So Jimi, was the Speaker. I know you have supported SongNet before cause I saw your pics for Jimi's Birthday. So I have been super busy with both my day and dream job. Did get to hear you on Tee-M's Saturday Radio show at the end, pretty cool collage of artists that performed that morning! Still have to invest in your new album and catch a current show and get me some Russian chocolates. Can you believe it is already time for my birthday again, May 20th! By the way if you read my MySpace Blogs you will see my Birthday plans. Well it is almost 5am and I need to get some sleep! Also cool seeing you love In&Out Burger. Visited one of my lawyer friends I went to Pepperdine with and we went to the Glendale In&Out. Hope to catch you around town!
One last inquiry, are you going to attend the June Call to the Arts Festival in Pomona?
I plan on attending if no other scheduling conflicts occur.

Keep me posted, Dave Tough is planning on flying me out to Nashville, Tennessee soon to visit and hang out with him and his new friends!

Peace, Joy & Prosperity!

i just LOVE in & out. the ONLY fast food place I tolerate b/c they serve really good quality & fresh food, milkshakes from REAL icecream not crap like in McD etc, treat their workers well and are very socially active in their communities. i just hope that when they spread over the world they'll keep being as good as they're now smile.gif

When I was in San Fran about a month ago, a few friends that (were online friends for like five years) I met up with said that we couldn't leave without trying In-n-out! smile.gif

It was really good; and I try to avoid food like that since the wrath of Supersize Me. haha smile.gif
