Ten years ago today I came to America for the first time.
I was an exchange student, I was 15, and I was ready to experience new things. I did experience many new things, and they changed my life forever.
I was feeling very sentimental today and wanted to send you all a little email.
I am very grateful for everything in my life. While I always dreamed of being a successful musician, I never imagined that I would be
in Los Angeles pursuing my dream.
And I never thought I would be this happy.
Thanks to all of you for the incredible support.
A big hug -

I know there is much more success to come your way. It will not be long before the rest of the country knows what the Komrades already know. I have seen many new performers over the years, but as I have always said there is something special about you and your music. I still predict that a Grammy or even maybe an Oscar for best song are not far off.
peace and blessings

Marina,
What a great day that must've been for you. Isn't it amazing to look back on all of the events and changes that have taken place in those last ten years? I'm so happy for you! and sorry for being so late is sharing this. If that date is correct, 8-12-94, I remember something significant about it...I was in New York at the time, went to a Stones concert! I wonder if you were in NYC that day?
Also saw Pink Floyd that summer in Kansas City...it was so hot there, and beers were $4 a cup. I still have lots of those Pink Floyd cups! hehe
