hi guys smile.gif
hope every one of you is well.. I have a little song for you. it's a Russian song I always soundcheck with. Some of you asked if I was going to record it.. so I did.
Nick & I just recorded it a few days ago in our studio, it was recorded live using the same set up we use at my solo shows..

I used to go camping with my school, several days at a time. It was usually in the wild Russian forest a few hundred miles outside of Moscow. Just a tent, canned food and no bath or even outhouse It was lots of fun. Somebody would usually bring a guitar and we'd all sing songs around the fire at night. This was one of the songs I learned back then. I have no idea who wrote it and when, but I sing it every day.
It's called "Belaya Gvardiya".

love,
Marina

hi everyone.. a few of you asked what the song was about.. i am terrible at translating line by line, so here is the story:
In 1917, the tsar was overthrown by the future communists. There was a civil war between the pro-tsar people (they were called the whites) and the ones against his rule (the reds).
This song is about a couple being separated by the civil war b/c they ended up on different sides.
