Thank you for the wonderful gift. I am one poor piano player [even though I do have a Baby Grand Young Chang] but two of my daughters are virtuosi & I know that one of them, Lanie, daughter #2, will master the sheet & vocals for me. Daughter #4, Jeneatha, was with me last night [I bought the CD for her since I have two but cannot share since they are both signed, &, of course, I have "Lift"] and she liked the set [especially, "Something Of My Own"] & the venue. She is a make-up artist and I will pay her to do your make-up for a video, wedding, or whatever in appreciation of your gifts -- your music, your presence, & the sheet music -- just "credit" makeup to her.
Again, thank you so much for all your gifts. This show, last night @ the Hotel Cafe, was even better than Gypsy Den & I want to get a copy of the new song -- can I by a single or download it?
I am normally a very touchy, feely person & would have given you a big hug but I was "Hot Flashing" & drenched in sweat. I found it very interesting that you "stress" & very attractive that you are less than comfortable when face-to-face with fans -- relax, we love you!
You should consider fronting a band -- maybe even punk or metal but at least rock, for a performance or video, or??. Jeneatha's boyfriend is a vocalist in a rock & roll band, "The Strangers Six," & are unsigned, struggling, & willing to do free stuff like play behind you on one of your songs. Check out http://www.purevolume.com/THeStrangersSix !! They would need guidance, but I’m sure Nick can handle them.
Speaking of Nick, I pointed out To Jeneatha last night, his "on the knees" taping of your pedal to the stage & she agrees that he is a keeper.
