T.O. Borders Show 7-30-2005

I happened into the Thousand Oaks Borders this evening looking for some stuff to read. Heard an amazing voice coming from the performance area. Listened while I was looking at books and mags. Went into the performance area and had a seat to watch Marina and Nick play their last couple of songs. It was great! Sorry I didn't get there earlier. I bought Marina's "Simple Magic" and "something of my own" CD's, and she was kind enough to sign them. I even got a hug! I've been listening to both CD's since getting home. They are wonderful. Hopefully I can catch another live show in the future. I'm guessing I don't need to say this on this board, but don't miss the chance to catch a show if they are in your area.

Thanks to Marina and Nick for some great music, and thanks to Borders for providing a stage for their talents and allowing folks like me to discover them.

I have the same story as you. I walked into Borders in the Puente Hills Mall near my home and heard that voice. The rest is history.

I have the same story, too. I walked into the Glendale Borders over a year ago and heard "that voice" on a CD and thought, "I must get up and find out who this is." All of sudden, the music went live; I followed it until I came upon Marina and Nick, and the rest is history.
