I had an opportunity to see & hear Marina play for the first time, at Border's in Simi Valley. Meeting Marina and actually getting a big hug from her, was indeed a great experience! She is a most beautiful artist, with a great sound and stage presence. She is truely a warm, kind hearted person, and I look forward to seeing her perform again!

I first heard Marina back on February 15, 2003. I walked into the Borders in Rolling Hills and heard her singing, so I decided to sit and have a listen. After a couple of songs I knew there was something special about her. I told her I was buying her CD so that when she wins a Grammy, I can tell people, “oh yea I have listening to her for years.” I did get to hear her a couple other times. I know that someday I will get to another show. But for now I will be content with listening to her on CD.
