The Show at Johnny Foxx's Club

The Show was really the best I've seen her do. Finding this club was really easy and parking wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. Kind of an old "neighborhood" bar like the ones in the midwest with plenty of sports on t.v. a pool table and video poker games. Although I never ate anything there I have a feeling that the sandwiches were good. I looked around and thought..where will the band set up? So, I walked toward the back of the bar down a hall and there was another door which was locked until showtime. What a nice little club they had back there. Like a totally separate little club from the neighborhood bar in front. A nice size stage with really nice stage lighting. The sound guy knew what he was doing too. Just the right taste of reverb in the right places on Marinas vocals. My favorite was "Ocean". Hope everyone else that showed up had as good a time as I did.

Marina was rockin' Saturday night. The place was really comfortable, good sound. It was good to hear Ocean again. And I got to hear Never Again, by request. Great night overall. Hope to see even more Komrades at the next show!
